Although earlier reported that Anthony Barr would be signing with the New York Jets, Barr now has decided to stay with the Vikings according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Barr was expected to play on the edge for the Jets, but now will return to his linebacker spot for the Vikings. He has 338 tackles and 13.5 sacks over five seasons in Minnesota. There are no details on his new agreement with the Vikings.
The Jets will now need to address their pass rush again, whether through free agency or the draft now that they no longer have the services of Barr.
