The Anaheim Ducks have dealt forward Adam Henrique as well as forward Sam Carrick to the Edmonton Oilers in a three team deal that also includes the Tampa Bay Lightning.
In return Anaheim will still pay 50% of each players salary, and receive the rights to goaltender Ty Taylor, a 2024 seventh-round pick and 2024 first-round pick from Edmonton plus a conditional 2024 fifth-round pick that will become a fourth should the Oilers hoist the Stanley Cup this season.
The Lightning will cover the rest of Henrique’s salary in exchange for Edmonton’s 2025 fourth-round pick that would instead be in 2026 if they win the Stanley Cup this season.
Henrique joined the Ducks in 2017 after being traded from the Devils who he helped reach the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals with a game winning goal in overtime of game six of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals.
