This week the Anaheim Ducks will play the last three games of their home stand.
Next for them is a match up Wednesday with the Ottawa Senators. The Senators are currently 25-31-3, and last in the Atlantic Division with 53 points.
Ottawa is 3-6-1 in their last ten games and 1-2 in their last three.
The Senators offense revolves heavily around Tim Stutzle and Claude Giroux who both have over fifty points. The Senators are off to a slow start. Their defense has struggled and goal tending has been an issue for them this year.
As far as goal tending for the Ducks there is still no update on John Gibson’s illness. The Ducks have used both their goalies heavily this year so it would not be a surprise if Dostal gets the start to give Gibson the extra rest.
After Wednesday night’s bout with Ottawa, the Stars will make their way from the lone star state on Friday. Then Sunday the Ducks will close the home stand with a game with the New York Islanders.
If you’re looking to catch Wednesday’s action puck drop is at 10:00 P.M. EST and 7:00 P.M PST. You can catch it on BSW and NHL Power Play on ESPN+.
