Teamfight Tactics has had a lot of rumors swirling about new champions or units that were coming later than the release date. It was a surprise as the TFT developers had said they were not doing Mid-Sets anymore. Well they aren’t but they are adding three new units and not just that, but they are the first ever 6 Cost TFT units. Come see what is known about the additions of Mel Medarda, Viktor & Warwick.

The New 6 Cost TFT Units
The addition of 6 Cost TFT units certainly was a shock to many and one that will make things interesting. You can see the entire development update below.
These new units are apparently extremely hard to get. Players will apparently only see one every other game and the hope will be that you are the one to see it.
They are game changers, each one for a different reason but the goal was that you will buy them no matter what when you see them. These additions will definitely divide players. Whether or not they will stick around after this set will be worth watching for as well.
Here is what each new unit does.
Mel Medarda
Mel is an interesting one. It looks as though she will be shielding your units from damage while also doing something similar to Kai’Sa where she shoots out little arcane light missiles at enemies. Along with this she will be able to keep your character/tactician from dying. Whether this is just once or more than once is unknown at the moment but there is no doubt that she is powerful.
Viktor
Viktor will remind players of Viktor in other sets. He will shoot out a laser for his auto-attacks in a line against enemies. Then his ability will stun every enemy and do massive damage as well. Getting to that ability as often as possible is going to be very important.
Warwick
Lastly, Warwick is going to feel very similar to Warwick in other sets. The big difference is that each attack will hit harder, he is bigger and it looks as though he will be doing a lot more healing. Add into it that he can scale with each kill and it looks as though he will be the ultimate Guinsoo’s unit in the set.
