The Buccaneers are wasting no time in getting protection for Tom Brady. Tampa Bay has signed former-Colts offensive tackle Joe Haeg.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the signing on Friday morning.

Haeg was drafted in the fifth round by the Indianapolis Colts in 2016. Last season, he played in all 16 games, although he did not start in any of them. He has one major injury in his career, suffering an ankle injury that placed him on injured reserve in 2018.
A five-time FCS champion during his time at North Dakota State, Haeg knows how to be a part of a winning culture. He also has experience protecting a great quarterback, as he was a tackle in front of Andrew Luck before his retirement.
Clearly, Tampa Bay wants to win now, and having a quarterback as old as Brady means that protection is at a premium. Haeg will help with that.
