Quick Restarts are finally coming to Civ 7: How to Restart in Civ 7

Fans of Civ 7 have long been wanting a way to more quickly restart a game for a better seed, and now it looks like it is here. Here’s everything you need to know about quick restarts in Civ 7 including when they go live and how to do it yourself.

Civ 7 Quick Restart Guide: Everything you need to know

Starting on March 25 with the launch of Patch 1.1.1, you will be able to quickly restart a game of Civ 7 from the main menu screen. Doing so, according to developers, will be very straightforward:

1. Simply hit the escape key or access the main menu however you choose
2. Find the Restart button just under Resume and click it
3. You should load into a new seed that you can then Restart again and again if you choose!
