North American and South Korean organization T1 have plans to acquire Jung “kAyle” Soo-yong for their PUBG roster ahead of PWS: East Asia Phase 2, multiple sources told TGH. He would enter the roster and replace Oh “BeaN” Won-bin who the team acquired just over two months ago according to one of the sources as well.
kAyle spent his entire career with his former OGN Entus Force, OGN Entus and Damwon Kia teammates until recently. For a two-year stretch, those teams were in the conversation for the most consistent team in Korea. After PGI.S though, massive roster changes followed. His teammate Seol Do “indigo” hoon was removed from the team and he was moved to the bench in favor of new additions.

This move is a major step for an organization like T1 to reach a championship-caliber level again. The organization tore down the roster that led them to a third-place finish in PCS2: Asia in 2020. Since then the team has never been the same. In addition to their acquisition of Jang “Hwan2da” Hwan three weeks ago sets the foundation for this team to return to contention.
With kAyle replacing BeaN, it is currently unknown who Hwan2da will replace leaving this roster in a state of flux. The two players it is likely between will be Jeong “Hulk” Lak-kwon or Kim “Daengchae”.
This has not been announced by the team yet. If more information becomes available, this article will be updated. Keep it here at TGH for more PUBG coverage and breaking news stories.
