After the intense NPL Royale, the National PUBG League has resumed with week four of competition. Tempo Storm took home the prize from the Royale, and now they are coming back still on top and looking to keep their position. All of the other teams will be looking to shake up the table and take down the tank that is Tempo Storm. Who will show up and win this week?
Day One
Day one started off with a bang. Envy smashed the 17-kill record with a commanding 22-kill win. They tore through 30 percent of the server and finished off their Chicken Dinner by taking down none other than Tempo Storm in the end. This new record will be a hard one to topple.
Match two saw another big win for Envy, this time with an 11-kill win. Using their momentum from the first match, they pushed through and took down Wildcard with a little help from the blue zone. Envy is chasing down the number one position and looking like a new favorite.
Shoot To Kill took the third win of the day as they won a firefight with Wildcard. Wildcard have been pushing hard, but they have yet to claim the Chicken Dinner that they are looking for. STK gained some much needed points as they are holding their fourth place position.
Wildcard finally claimed their win in match four. They put up 10 kills and took down eUnited to finally claim the win they were looking for. With two second place finishes, and one win, Wildcard have gained some major points in day one.
At the end of the day Tempo Storm still remain on top of the league, but they have some competition catching up fast. If teams like Envy continue to perform well, there may be a new leader at the end of the week.
Day Two
Day two started off with a Chicken Dinner for Cloud9 who are looking to jump up the table. They took down Envy, the stars from day one, in a one versus two shootout. After that, match two saw a win for Shoot To Kill who were looking to capitalize on their win from day one. They put up 12 kills to take down Endemic in a firefight.
Match three went to Smokin’ Aces who had been looking to get back on the board. They picked up an eight-kill game and took down Shoot To Kill. The leaders, Tempo Storm, came back in match four to pick up some more points with an eight-kill win over Cloud9. With this win, they remain in a commanding lead over the competition.
Week Four Standouts
The standouts of week four were Envy and Shoot To Kill. The number two and three teams put in a lot of work this week and showed the competition that they are here to stay. Both teams picked up two Chicken Dinners and had some other impressive finishes. For a while it looked like Tempo Storm were going to pull away for good, but with big wins like these, they are being closed in on fast. How much longer can they keep dominating the National PUBG League?
