Global Esports Xsset (GEX)

Miramar Drop Location: Monte Neuvo
Erangel Drop Location: Gatka
X Factor: YanLi

There was no more consistent force from Taiwan throughout the year than Global Esports Xsset, known as GEX. Their international track record should be noted; they attended three of the four PCS events and made the top three of the Incheon Challenge Cup. This roster is lead by YanLi, their star player and IGL. He is the driving force behind this roster. CC, Leo & MaoYe56 surround YanLi and support their leader entirely. The biggest concern for this team is how they will play in this system. Why should they succeed in this system if they could not do well in the PCS events? This next week of scrims could have a massive impact on their outlook.

K7 Esports

Miramar Drop Location: Cruz de Valle
Erangel Drop Location: Severny
X Factor: Lokslokkk

In the murky world of competitive PUBG in Chinese Taipei, K7 Esports was one of the shining lights. Towards the end of 2020 they emerged as the explosive team from the region. The majority of the explosiveness comes from their dynamic duo of Lokslokkk and ZehnNan. BuYoHoo and Savior round out this roster to create the dynamic Vietnamese-Hong Kongese hybrid roster. This team’s biggest issue though is their hit or miss nature. While they were the only Chinese Taipei team to win a match at PCS 3, GEX had three-second place in contrast. K7 also had many more 0 kill games than GEX. If K7 can get that match win in qualifiers, they can not be taken lightly in the weekly finals.
