One of the classic games in Pokemon, Colosseum, is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. Specifically, it will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch Online GameCube service. The only problem is that we do not know when. Here is what we know about the Pokemon Colosseum Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date.
The Pokemon Colosseum Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date will likely be sometime in September or October, 2025.
This, truthfully, is speculation based on the next Nintendo Direct that is expected at the end of July. With the latest Pokemon Presents not showing this game or Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, it feels like it will take a Nintendo Direct to give us more information. This is mainly due to the fact that it is a Nintendo service as much as it is Pokemon.
Along with this, Pokemon has been showing up more on Nintendo Directs. Especially with games that are either not new or live service.
Unfortunately, this prediction ended up being wrong byut the timeline still feels the same.

Many have been enjoying the fact that older console games are finding their way to the Nintendo Switch Online store.
That being said, Pokemon fans have really wanted to see some of the older main series games make it to the Online store as well. There have been fake rumors created of a Pokemon Collection in the works for well over a year at this point. But nothing has come of them. Getting games other than Gen 1 into the hands of younger players would be a fun and great idea. The hope is that with more games like Pokemon Colosseum getting released online, Pokemon will finally start to bend their rules to get some of the greatest games of all time out there as well.
