Urshifu is the evolved form of Kubfu and has two battle styles. Single Strike Style is a Fighting and Dark-type Pokemon focused on decisive one-hit attacks, while Rapid Strike Style is a Fighting and Water-type Pokemon focused on flowing, repeated strikes.
Competitive Overview
Urshifu is usually a strong competitive Pokemon because both formes have high Attack, signature critical-hit pressure and the Unseen Fist ability. Single Strike Style threatens opponents with Fighting and Dark pressure, while Rapid Strike Style pressures teams with Fighting and Water attacks.
Single Strike Style is best known for Wicked Blow, a Dark-type signature attack, while Rapid Strike Style is best known for Surging Strikes, a multi-hit Water-type signature attack. Both formes use Unseen Fist, but their typing, weaknesses, resistances, move choices and Gigantamax forms should be treated separately.
