Treecko is the Grass-type first partner Pokemon from the Hoenn region. It is known as the Wood Gecko Pokemon, with small hooks on the soles of its feet that let it climb walls and trees.
Competitive Overview
Treecko is usually more important as an early-game starter and Little Cup option than as a fully evolved competitive threat. Its Speed is its best stat, which lets it pressure slower opponents with Grass-type attacks and utility moves.
Treecko’s biggest limitation is that it is frail and not very strong before evolving. Players who want a stronger Grass-type attacker usually evolve Treecko into Grovyle and then Sceptile.
