Taillow Description

Taillow is the first form in the Taillow evolution line. It is a Normal and Flying-type Pokemon that evolves into Swellow and is often found early in Hoenn routes and forests.

Competitive Overview

Is Taillow Good in Competitive?

Taillow is usually used more as an early-game or evolution-stage Pokemon than a major competitive threat. Its Speed, Flying typing and access to Guts can still make it useful in limited formats or lower-power battles.

Taillow is best known for evolving into Swellow, which makes better use of its Speed and offensive pressure. Taillow can still be fun for story playthroughs and challenge runs where fast Flying-type pressure matters.
