Seedot Description

Seedot is the first stage in the Shiftry evolution line. It is a small Grass-type Pokemon known for its acorn-like body, forest habitat and evolution into the Grass and Dark-type Nuzleaf.

Competitive Overview

Is Seedot Good in Competitive?

Seedot is usually used as an early evolution Pokemon rather than a finished competitive threat. Its main value is developing into Nuzleaf and eventually Shiftry, which has stronger offensive tools and better abilities.

Seedot can still be useful early in a playthrough thanks to Grass-type utility, status options and evolution access. Its biggest issue is its low base stat total compared with fully evolved Pokemon.
