Rattata Description

Rattata is a small Normal-type Pokemon introduced in Generation 1. It is known for gnawing on almost anything with its fangs, moving quickly and appearing early in many Pokemon adventures.

Competitive Overview

Is Rattata Good in Competitive?

Rattata is usually not a serious competitive Pokemon in standard formats because of its low base stats and limited bulk. It is more commonly used as an early-game Pokemon or as a novelty pick.

Rattata can still be memorable because of moves like Super Fang, Endeavor, Quick Attack and Facade. Its biggest issues are poor defenses, low overall power compared to evolved Pokemon and a weakness to Fighting-type moves.
