Raticate Description

Raticate evolves from Rattata and is known for its large teeth, aggressive nature and ability to gnaw through tough materials. Its hind feet are webbed, helping it swim while hunting for food.

Is Raticate Good in Competitive?

Raticate is usually a niche competitive Pokemon, but it has some interesting tools. Guts can make Facade much stronger when Raticate has a status condition, and Super Fang can pressure bulky opponents by cutting their remaining HP.

Raticate’s biggest strengths are speed, Guts sets and utility moves like Super Fang and U-turn. Its biggest limitation is its low bulk, and regular Raticate is weak to Fighting-type moves.
