Greetings Unite players! As the fandom’s favorite new MOBA gains more traction, the Pokemon Company released info on a brand new patch coming out on November 4th. The Pokemon UNITE August Patch is going to be released on August 4th at 12 am PDT, or, 7 UTC.
This patch will contain Bug fixes, text fixes, and will be testing a new spectate feature for players to watch other matches. However, that’s not the most exciting news this article is covering.
The Pokemon UNITE August patch will bring are changes to some of the Pokemons’ stats and moves to adjust the balancing of the game. Below is the list of Pokemon having moves patched:
Charizard
Flamethrower:
Cooldown reduced, effects on opposing Pokemon strengthed.
Fire Punch:
Effects on opposing Pokemon strengthed.
Fire Blast:
Cooldown reduced, effects on opposing Pokemon strengthed.
Talonflame
Acrobatics:
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Aerial Ace:
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Aerial Ace+:
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Fly:
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Venusaur
Sludge Bomb:
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased, effects on opposing Pokémon strengthened.
Petal Dance:
Move Upgrade
Solar Beam:
Cooldown reduced.
Unite Move: Verdant Anger
Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Absol
Basic Attack:

Conclusion
Some of these balance changes will be a boon to some players, such as Absol and Zeraora mains. However, it will cause other players such as Cinderace mains to adjust to some of their moves’ power being decreased. Despite some of the release issues, the Pokemon Company and its partners are working hard to bring this game to its peak. Players will hopefully enjoy this first of many updates and patches to this new MOBA title.
