Greetings trainers. Hopefully, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are treating people well. Just on the heels of these two 5-star raids, Gamefreak has announced the next 7-star raid. This piece will go over all of the details of the 7 Star Decidueye Raid.
Decidueye is Ready to Fire Its Arrows
The next raid for players in Scarlet and Violet will be Decidueye. This owl will be rocking the Flying Tera Type and serve as a challenge to players. Not all of the info is available yet, but players can still prepare fairly well for the challenge ahead. Below will be a list of the information players currently know and some preparation suggestions.
Dates and Times
The Decidueye raid will be taking place from March 17 to March 26. There will be a break between March 19 and March 24 for those who either miss the first rotation or those that need more time to prepare. While there is still plenty of time beforehand, trainers should pick their raid mon and start training as soon as possible.
Suggestions
One thing players can do to ensure that they have an edge in the raid is bring an electric, rock, or ice-type Pokémon. All of those are super effective against Flying types and can help whittle away its health. However, something to keep in mind is picking a raid mon that can resist damage from Decidueye’s move set.
While taking neutral damage from the enemy will still work, resistances will keep your Pokemon in the game longer. This will also help keep the timer from running out from too many KOs. Lastly, make sure that everyone’s Pokemon is level 100. That is what most 7-StarHer Pokemon are, so, anything below the late 90s will be easily knocked out.
Here are a couple of counters that will help stomp Decidueye:
Miraidon- Is resistant to both grass and flying, along with being a hard-hitting electric type with Hadron Engine and Electro Drift.
Magnezone- Is either resistant or neutral to Decidueye’s attacks and is great for playing a DPS role.
Toxtricity- Good damage output, resists most of Decidueye’s attacks and can provide defense debuffs with Acid Spray.
Conclusion
Decidueye is looking to be a fun, but powerful opponent. However, its move pool is less diverse than that of Greninja and Cinderace. With proper preparation and smart choice in pokemon, this 7 Star Decidueye raid will pose little difficulty.
