Pokemon Fire Ash Version: What Is It And How to Play It

Franco Aureli DiazBy Franco Aureli DiazMay 7, 20233 Mins Read

Greetings trainers. April was the first month of Liko’s adventures. And it seems the new anime is being well received so far. However, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that it is hard to forget about Ash. Fear not though, this piece will inform players about a ROM that players can use to relive their own version of Ash’s complete journey: Pokémon Fire Ash Version.

What is Pokémon Fire Ash?

Most people who have played Pokémon Ash Grey have no doubt heard about this one. Pokémon Fire Ash looks to be a DS fan game that captures the entirety of Ash’s journey from Kanto to Galar (though currently, it’s only been updated to Alola). For those who are hard committers to Ash’s journey, this is the optimal experience for those who want to be their ideal Ash Ketchum.

Especially since this game gives people more to do than Ash Grey. The game gives players the chance to remake Ash’s teams to their delight, challenge over 50 gyms, and make their own Ash team from over 800 available Pokémon.

Players can also fight all of Ash’s rivals. From Gary, Paul, and Cameron all the way to Alain, Hau, and Gladion, this game will put players through all of Ash’s glorious moments. Maybe players can even beat Tobias.

How to Download and Play Fire Ash

Download the most recent version. Image from the Pokémon Fire Ash site.

The first thing to note is that Fire Ash is not a game that you can play on any emulator. Fire Ash is made using RPG Maker and Pokémon Essentials. Seeing that these programs use Windows directories, players cannot download it on MAC iOS. Other than that, it’s as simple as other Pokémon ROMS.

Players just need to download the files from the Fire Ash website (click on the hyperlink). Everything will download as zip files. Use WinRAWR or 7zip to decompress everything. After that, run the .exe file.

Again, do NOT try to run this on an emulator.

Conclusion

Pokémon Fire Ash Version is the ultimate love letter to Ash Ketchum’s journey and the old era of the anime everyone grew up with. The devs are still updating the game today with the last new updates coming out in May and June to wrap up Ash’s story. As long as players have a PC or know how to run Boot Camp Assistant on their MACs, they will not have a hard time running this game.

The website to download it has been hyperlinked, so click it hard and go ham, fam.
