Pokemon Day 2026 is One Month Away! | Everything Between Then & Now

Publish Date: January 27, 2026

Can you believe that we are only 30 days away from arguably the biggest day in Pokemon history? It is hard not to be excited for what is going to happen between now and then. Here is a look at everything that could come out leading up to Pokemon Day 2026.

Pokemon Day 2026

Pokemon has been saying since they announced the 30th anniversary that there are going to be a lot of different announcements, and a few have already arrived. There has been the Secret Lab news, the new LEGO sets that are coming out, and even TCG products that should be arriving later this week. There is a lot happening, and it is a good time to talk through it all so everyone is on the same page, knows what to look for, and has a clear idea of what could be coming next for the 30th anniversary.

30 Days Out: What Has Already Been Announced

First, the Secret Lab chairs can already be pre-ordered. Some of them are expected to start getting to people in a couple of months. They are already backordered through August, at least as of the time of recording.

The LEGO sets have also been mostly picked up already, but there will likely be more releases over the next couple of weeks. There is also a good chance that more LEGO-related news shows up as part of the 30th anniversary announcements.

The next big one coming soon is the new anniversary TCG collection. It sounds like it is going to be a bit smaller for the 30th anniversary than what has been seen in the past. Alongside that, there is also the beginning portion of the Ascended Heroes TCG release, which is a little strange. It sounds like the bigger products, like ETBs and the 36-pack boosters, will be coming out in February, closer to Pokemon Day. But the single packs and some other parts of Ascended Heroes are expected to be released later this week.

There are also a couple more things happening at the end of January. Pokemon TCG Pocket is getting a new set, Fantastical Parade, on the 28th. Pokemon GO also has a new event that brings Team Rocket back into focus a bit. And that is just January. February has not even started yet.

February Predictions: What Could Be Next

Earlier in February, there is a strong chance that there will be another new activation. What it is, or what type of product it will be, is not entirely known yet, and nothing has really leaked. There has not even been much heard about any new Secret Lab details beyond what is already out there. The LEGO announcement was known because it was revealed last year.

Because of that, it would not be surprising to see another collaboration, maybe something clothing-related this time. Last year had the Hundred Thieves collaboration, and with how early they have been doing collaboration announcements, it would make sense if there was another connection to esports or a bigger team in some way.

There may also be a Pokemon TCG Pocket announcement in the second or third week of February. That is mostly because this is how it tends to go, with announcements often coming about a week before something goes live. With Pocket getting new content at a steady pace, it would make sense for the announcement to happen early, then have the full reveal or the release itself line up directly with Pokemon Day.

The last thing that feels likely over the next couple of weeks is something related to the anime. Even for people who are not watching closely, it is clear that major things have been going on. There is a chance they start winding things down, especially if something big is being set up for the 30th anniversary. That could mean an announcement ahead of time, maybe even for a smaller movie, so that the 30th anniversary presentation can focus heavily on new content.

Why This All Feels Like a Setup for a Huge Pokemon Presents

All of this has a clear pattern. The collaborations are being announced early. Products are getting teased or released ahead of time. More regional throwbacks and celebration beats, like the recent Pokemon Kanto reveal, are happening now.

It feels like the goal is to get everyone to a point right before Pokemon Day 2026, where it seems like everything has already been announced, and people start asking what else could possibly be left.

And then Pokemon Day hits, and they drop a 30 to 40 minute Pokemon Presents that is mostly all new content after the first few minutes, and it ends up being mind-blowing. That is what a lot of people are hoping for, and it feels like what the community is starting to expect too.

There is still a month to go, and it really does feel like these next 30 days are going to be filled with more conversations and more announcements, just like they have already been doing since the beginning of the year.
