Pignite Description

Pignite is the evolved form of Tepig and the middle stage before Emboar. It is a Fire and Fighting-type Pokemon that uses the flame in its body to power strong attacks.

Competitive Overview

Is Pignite Good in Competitive?

Pignite is usually more useful during a story playthrough than in high-level competitive formats. Its Fire and Fighting typing gives it helpful offensive coverage, and Blaze can boost Fire-type moves when its HP is low.

Pignite’s biggest strengths are its physical attacking options and useful coverage. Its biggest issues are middling Speed and weaknesses to Flying, Ground, Water and Psychic-type attacks.
