Pidove Description

Pidove is the first stage of the Pidove evolution line. It is a Normal and Flying-type Pokemon known for its early-game availability in Unova, straightforward typing and evolution into Tranquill.

Competitive Overview

Is Pidove Good in Competitive?

Pidove is usually a lower-tier competitive Pokemon because it is an unevolved early-route bird with modest stats. It is mostly used in early-game playthroughs, collection, challenge runs or formats that allow lower-stage Pokemon.

Pidove’s main strengths are its simple Normal and Flying typing, access to useful Flying-type attacks and abilities such as Super Luck or Big Pecks. It generally needs evolution into Tranquill and Unfezant to become more useful in standard battles.
