Minun is a small Electric-type Pokemon that cheers for its partners by giving off sparks from its body. It is known as the Cheering Pokemon and is closely associated with Plusle, its counterpart in the National Pokedex.
Minun is usually used as a fast support Electric-type rather than a bulky attacker. It has useful support moves such as Encore, Thunder Wave, Helping Hand, Wish and Baton Pass, plus Nasty Plot for offensive pressure in games where it is available. Its higher Special Defense helps slightly compared to some frailer Electric-types, but it still needs careful positioning around Ground-type moves.
