The Starter Pokemon for Legends Z-A are getting their own Mega Evolutions. This leaves many fans wondering what they might look like and what might change for them. We are here to help give you everything we know so far about Mega Emboar in Pokemon Legends Z-A, including leaks, rumors, stat or type-changes and more once it is officially revealed.
Mega Emboar has not been officially revealed for Pokemon Legends Z-A, yet.
There have been rumors about it since the announcement of Mega Pokemon officially returning. It was not until recently, though, that we received confirmation that these leaks were likely real or at least very close. Below is a rumor that comes from the same leaks that described Mega Dragonite, Mega Victreebel and Mega Hawlucha very well.

The latest leak is below is one that many believe may be the lower part of Mega Emboar. You can see the new skirt and the bottom of the spear as well.

Emboar is not getting a type change like Feraligatr and Meganium are, according to leaks at least. It will remain fire and fighting-type but will likely get a boost in stats and a new ability. This is not confirmed but if they follow what they did with other Mega Pokemon this should be the case.
As of right now it is not known how we will get Mega Emboar. That being said, we have some good guesses.
To start, you will need to pick Tepig as your starting Pokemon. Then you will likely receive the Mega Stone or Emboarite from one of these possible people. Either it will be from the new Pokemon Professor in the game, Mabel. Or you might receive it from your rival Taunie or Urbain. Lastly, you might get it from A-Z. There are certainly other options but these feel like they are the most likely based on what we know so far about the game.
