Linoone Description

Linoone is the evolved form of Zigzagoon. It is a Normal-type Pokemon known for its speed, straight-line running style and useful in-game utility through abilities like Pickup. Linoone also has a Galarian regional form that can evolve into Obstagoon.

Competitive Overview

Is Linoone Good in Competitive?

Linoone can be a dangerous niche competitive Pokemon in formats where it has access to Belly Drum and priority or strong Normal-type attacks. Its Speed and sweeping potential can make it threatening if it finds a safe setup turn.

Linoone also has clear limits. Its bulk is low, it relies heavily on setup and it can struggle against Ghost-type Pokemon, bulky Steel-types and faster priority users. Galarian Linoone is usually more important as the middle stage before Obstagoon.
