Kubfu is a small Legendary Fighting-type Pokemon known for intense training, disciplined martial arts and its branching evolution into Urshifu. The style Kubfu follows determines whether it becomes Single Strike Style Urshifu or Rapid Strike Style Urshifu.
Competitive Overview
Kubfu is usually not used as a final competitive option because it is designed as a pre-evolution. Its main value comes from evolving into Urshifu, which has stronger stats, stronger signature attacks and better overall battle pressure.
Kubfu can still be useful for collection, story progression and evolution planning. Players usually choose between the Single Strike path and the Rapid Strike path based on which Urshifu form they want for their team.
