Joltik Description

Joltik is a small Bug and Electric-type Pokemon that attaches to larger Pokemon to absorb static electricity. It evolves into Galvantula and is known for Electric-type pressure, Bug-type utility and its unusually tiny size.

Competitive Overview

Is Joltik Good in Competitive?

Joltik is usually more useful during early-game playthroughs or limited formats than in serious competitive play. It has useful typing and Speed for a first-stage Pokemon but is held back by low bulk.

Its strengths include Compound Eyes, Electric-type attacks, Bug-type utility and Sticky Web support in games where it can use that move. Its main problems are weaknesses to Fire and Rock-type attacks.
