There was a good bit of news about Pokemon Legends Z-A during the most recent Pokemon Presents, including a new Mega Pokemon. While everyone was excited for the reveal of Mega Dragonite, it was another Pokemon that got some attention as well. So is Mega Hariyama arriving in Pokemon Legends Z-A?
As of right now, it does not look like Mega Hariyama will be in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
This all comes from a Tweet from famed Pokemon World Champion and content creator Wolfe Glick. He posted the image below with the words “MEGA HARIYAMA????”.

Many responded that they were shocked and confused. Going to the main Pokemon Legends Z-A website there is nothing mentioning this Pokemon and while the rumors are not completely confirmed, they have been relativly right so far and Hariyama was not listed to be getting a Mega.

It looks more than likely that this is a fake image made as a joke by Glick.
Hariyama just has the hands from Iron Hands, its Paradox form in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, added to its design. It is a clever trick to play by Glick as fans are racing to find out the newest Mega Pokemon getting added to the game arriving in October. While there is still a chance that Hariyama gets a Mega evolution even in this game, all evidence points to the contrary.
Should this end up coming true or new information comes out, this article will be updated to reflect that. Again though, that would be a major surprise given what we know so far.
