Illumise is a Bug-type Pokemon known as the Firefly Pokemon. It is closely linked with Volbeat and is known for guiding groups of Volbeat to draw glowing geometric patterns in the night sky.
Illumise is usually used as a support Bug-type. Prankster gives priority to useful status moves in supported games, while Tinted Lens can help its Bug-type attacks hit resisted targets more effectively. Illumise is not a heavy offensive threat, but moves like Encore, Thunder Wave, Wish, Moonlight, Bug Buzz and U-turn can give it utility on the right team.
