Gulpin Description

Gulpin is a Poison-type Pokemon whose body is mostly stomach. It can swallow objects nearly its own size, dissolve them with powerful digestive fluids and evolve into Swalot at level 26.

Gulpin Competitive Overview

Gulpin is usually more useful as a status and utility Pokemon than a direct attacker. Its Poison typing gives it useful resistances, while moves such as Toxic, Acid Spray, Encore, Yawn, Stockpile and Pain Split can disrupt opponents. Because its stats are modest, Gulpin usually performs best in casual play, early-game teams or formats where its support options matter more than raw power.
