Competitive Overview

Is Clobbopus Good in Competitive?

Clobbopus is usually a developing first-stage Pokemon rather than a major fully evolved competitive threat. It has solid Attack for its stage, useful Fighting-type moves and the potential to use Technician on lower-power attacks.

Clobbopus’s biggest strengths are Fighting-type pressure, access to moves such as Drain Punch, Close Combat and Bulk Up, and its evolution into Grapploct. Its main issues are low Speed and limited overall bulk compared with evolved Fighting-type Pokemon.
