Carkol is the middle evolution of Rolycoly and Coalossal. It is a Rock and Fire-type Pokemon shaped like a coal-filled minecart, and it is known for generating coal inside its body and rolling quickly on wheel-like legs.
Competitive Overview
Carkol is usually more useful during a playthrough than in high-level competitive formats. Its good Defense, Rock and Fire typing and access to utility moves like Stealth Rock can help during the middle of a game.
Carkol’s biggest strengths are Steam Engine, Flame Body, solid physical bulk and useful Rock and Fire STAB options. Its biggest issues are low Speed and major weaknesses to Water and Ground-type moves, which become much harder to manage before it evolves into Coalossal.
