In terms of Pokemon, there are over 1,000 now and yet, most of the originals are still beloved. Exeggcute does not normally show up on many lists for favorite Pokemon but it is an interesting one from the original games, Green, Red, Blue and Yellow. It was just a Grass Pokemon originally and then it became Grass and Psychic.
It’s evolve form Exeggutor also is the same typing. Unless it is an Alolan Exeggutor which is Grass and Dragon.
Both Exeggcute and Exeggutor were added when the came was originally released back on July 6, 2016. That means that they are some of the originals. They have had some increased spawn times in the wild but haven’t had anything special since 2019.
Now, almost four years later, Exeggcute will be getting its own Spotlight. This will give benefits of Double Candy and a higher Shiny possibility. It is part of the Spring into Spring 2023 Event.
Here is a look at the shiny version which should be pretty easy to spot.

It goes from being a pink egg to a gold or almost orange one.
Make sure to grab this Pokemon and its shiny form while the chances of finding one are higher both in general and for its shiny form.
