Camerupt is the evolved form of Numel. It is a Fire and Ground-type Pokemon known for its volcano-like humps, strong mixed attacking stats and extremely low Speed.
Competitive Overview
Camerupt can be useful in competitive play as a slow, powerful Fire and Ground-type attacker. It can pressure Steel, Fire, Electric and Poison-type Pokemon with strong STAB attacks and can fit especially well on Trick Room teams.
Camerupt’s biggest strengths are its offensive typing, access to moves like Eruption, Earth Power and Heat Wave, and Mega Camerupt’s Sheer Force ability. Its biggest issue is a major Water weakness and very low Speed outside of Trick Room.
