Pokemon UNITE Battle Items Guide

Greetings UNITE trainers, it’s that time of the week again. Climbing up the ladder in the ranked season gets more daunting as players move up, which can be quite discouraging. That’s why having the correct items for your Pokemon is super important. Every player should take their time with making their builds solid. Therefore, competitors need to know the skinny on every item. This Pokemon UNITE Battle Items guide will go over the benefits of all battle and held items, along with which Pokemon they are useful on.

Battle Items:

Potion: This item restores some of the HP of the Pokemon it is equipped to.  However, it’s not the best item out in the shops. Held Items, like Leftovers, outclass it.

X Attack: Raises the attack and special attack of the Pokemon it’s equipped to, making it a strong tool for those who rely on maximizing damage output within a specific time frame. The item usage is definitely a little niche.

X Speed: Raises speed for a short time and prevents it from being decreased. This item works well on Pokemon who rely on fast movement speed to traverse the map and outmaneuver the enemies.

Fluffy Tail: Leaves wild Pokemon unable to act and increases damage done to them. Junglers usually use this item. But the strange thing is, the item barely sees any play since the Eject button far outweighs Fluffy Tail’s utility.

Eject Button: A must-have item that will allow its user to warp from one part of the arena to the other, allowing for very quick plays and getaways. This is good on almost any Pokemon, granting an unprecedented amount of escape and playmaking utility.

Slow Smoke: Creates a cloud of smoke that greatly decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokemon for a short time. The item serves the holder best when they know beforehand that they’ll often be in the middle of the entire enemy team. Unfortunately, simply hitting one person with it grants a very little benefit to compete with other item options, such as Eject.

Full Heal: Removes all status conditions from your Pokémon and makes it immune to hindrances for a short time. A fantastic option for squishy attackers who know for a fact that the enemy team will have some strong lockdown to deal with. The item requires strong game knowledge to use.

Goal Getter: This useful battle item allows players to score twice as fast. Since the item only has use when playing from ahead, make sure the team composition has enough utility to successfully win skirmishes. After all, Goal Getter has to compete with a broken item like Eject Button.

Battle items are an important part of a successful loadout for one’s UNITE champion. While certain items work well with certain types of Pokemon, don’t be afraid to try all of them out and see which ones work the best for you! With this Pokemon UNITE Battle Items guide in mind, players will hopefully pick the one that will help them best.
