August Pokémon GO Pass: Moltres Ignites The Way

Publish Date: July 30, 2025

Trainers, August will be a robust time for Pokémon GO players. For those paying attention to news about the Pokémon GO Pass, they already know of a certain fiery chicken gracing the list. In this piece, players will read about Moltres’ place on the August Pokémon GO Pass.

What is the Pokémon GO Pass?

The Pokémon GO pass is a free, limited-time progression track available during a specified period. By collecting GO Points, players can increase their rank to earn rewards. Trainers will automatically get the pass on August 5. They will then have the entire month to rack up points and complete tasks. The August pass will be good until September 2.

Normally, players can earn up to 250 GO Pass points a day. However, during events, these limits are removed. This removal will be implemented from August 30 to the 31.  For players wanting faster reward progression, they can get the GO Pass Deluxe for a fee.

Featured Pokémon and Rewards

Trainers who complete the pass will earn these rewards:

  • Encounter Moltres with a Delightful Days–themed Special Background!*
  • Stardust
  • XP
  • Max Particles
  • Poké Balls

Players who upgrade to the Deluxe pass will get the following additional rewards:

  • A Lucky Trinket
  • One Super Incubator
  • Additional encounters with even more Pokémon!
  • Premium items, such as Premium Battle Passes, Incense, a Lucky Egg, an Incubator, Lure Modules, and more!
