Pokemon Pokopia brings with it a fresh new take on Pokemon where you can build the towns of your dreams. Even with a game like this, there are big questions that are asked with every release. One big one is, are there Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia?

As of right now, it looks like Shiny Pokemon actually being in Pokopia are unlikely.
The main reason for this is that it looks like you get each Pokemon only one time in each playthrough. While there is still a chance that this could be wrong and Shiny Pokemon end up being incredibly rare, there are no known cases of this happening.
There is always the chance that Shiny Pokemon are added later.
Players forget that the original games did not have Shiny Pokemon at all and that when they were added, they were much harder to get than they are in more modern Pokemon games. Should Pokopia do as well as it seems like it might, there is an extremely good chance that this game will either get DLC or a second game.
Should this be the case, then there is a better chance that Shiny Pokemon could be added in the future.
