How Many New Pokemon Are in Bubbly Basin?

Pre-release trailers, screenshots and preview footage have directly revealed 25 unique Pokemon species connected to Bubbly Basin, including both male and female forms of Frillish. Feebas and Milotic have also been announced for a separate in-game event beginning August 13, 2026.

Another 13 Pokemon are expected because other members of their evolutionary families have been shown. That creates a working list of 40 revealed or expected new Pokemon, although the final number cannot be confirmed until the complete Bubbly Basin Pokedex is available in-game.

The tables below separate directly revealed Pokemon from family members that have not yet received complete confirmation.

Every Revealed Pokemon in Pokopia Bubbly Basin

These Pokemon have appeared in official trailers, screenshots, preview footage or announced events. Their exact habitats, requests and specialties will be added after they are verified in-game.

Expected Evolution Family Members

The Pokemon below have not all been directly shown in official footage. However, another member of each evolutionary family has been revealed, and Pokemon Pokopia generally includes complete evolution families.

These Pokemon should be treated as expected rather than fully confirmed until they appear in the Bubbly Basin Pokedex or are discovered in-game.

What about Phione? Phione has been reported as a possible future event Pokemon because of Manaphy’s addition, but it has not been sufficiently confirmed for Bubbly Basin. It will be added to this list if official information or in-game evidence confirms it.

How to Access the New Bubbly Basin Pokemon

To begin accessing Bubbly Basin and its new Pokemon, players must meet several requirements:

• Update Pokemon Pokopia to Version 2.0.0.
• Reach Environment Level 5 in Bleak Beach.
• Complete the “Raise the environment level!” request.
• Learn how to jump.
• Learn Surf.
• Meet Manaphy and learn Dive.

Dive and general underwater building are part of the free Version 2.0.0 update. The Bubbly Basin town, most of its new Pokemon and its exclusive content require the paid Expansion Pass.

Manaphy will teach Dive to players who meet the free-update requirements. However, the Expansion Pass is required to befriend Manaphy.

Pokemon Pokopia Bubbly Basin Pokemon FAQ

Are all the new Pokemon locked behind the paid DLC?

When will Feebas and Milotic be available?

Feebas and Milotic are scheduled to arrive through a new in-game event beginning August 13, 2026. Their exact unlock requirements will be added once the event begins.

Are all 40 Pokemon confirmed?

No. Twenty-five unique species have been directly revealed for Bubbly Basin, while Feebas and Milotic have been announced for an event. The remaining Pokemon are expected because confirmed members of their evolutionary families are present. This guide will distinguish confirmed and expected Pokemon until the complete in-game Pokedex is verified.

Yes. The Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass contains three parts. Part 2 is scheduled for late 2026 and will add more Pokemon, accessories and furniture. Part 3 is scheduled for 2027 and will add another new town alongside additional Pokemon and content.
