For those who may not know, Pokemon Unite is a MOBA. Also known as a multiplayer online battle arena or the same type of game that DOTA 2 and League of Legends are. League of Legends recently went to mobile gaming with Wild Rift, a slightly different version of League of Legends. DOTA 2 has still not released a mobile version of its game.
The major advantage Pokemon has right now is that Pokemon Unite is already on the Nintendo Switch. This is currently the only major MOBA on the system. Likely, it will be the only one for awhile so that they do not have to compete with anyone.
As for the Pokemon Unite Mobile release date, fans can expect the game to come out on September 22, 2021. This was revealed in the latest Pokemon Presents.
Fans are also able to preregister for the game on the Apple and Google Play stores. Every player on mobile, as well as Switch, will earn rewards for how many registrations there are. Even if a player does not intend to play on mobile, it is still very worth it to register as the biggest reward is an exclusive Pikachu skin.
