Hiya trainers, it is time to talk more UNITE. During the Pokemon Direct on August 18, Sylveon and Mamoswine were both announced for the game with very little info to go off of. People already have a good idea of when Sylveon is being released. With Blastoise dropping on the 1st of September, this article will speculate on when the Pokemon UNITE Mamoswine release will storm the lanes.

From the footage in the direct, the developers present Mamoswine as an All-Rounder. Some of that proof is in the pudding, as Mamoswine’s attack freezes the opponent. It then follows that up by sucking it in and impaling them on its tusks. Mamoswine then finishes this attack with a slam. Lastly, looking at what seems to be its UNITE MOVE, Mamoswine runs up to opponents and slams down on the ground in front of them. This is a decently offensive maneuver that can be used to trounce enemies.
Some people may look at Mamoswine’s bulk and assume that it will enter the game as a defender. This is not an outlandish theory, but looking at Mamoswine’s behavior, it is too aggressive in its moves to lack an attacker purpose. However, it looks bulky enough that it will not get trounced in one hit. Therefore, I think the All-Rounder class is more appropriate for it.
Similar to how Sylveon’s potential release was figured out, it is done by analyzing the path patterns. New mons release every two weeks after patches. Blastoise is going to release on September 1st and this will most likely be included in a patch or will just be added via update. It is also unknown if Sylveon and Blastoise will be part of the same update as Gardevoir was released on its own.
Either way, the Pokemon UNITE Mamoswine release seems to be after Blastoise on September 15th. If Sylveon gets released before Mamoswine, September 29th. This is all speculation and until the company confirms anything, this is all that is known for now.
Pokemon UNITE is ever-expanding and the vision of the completed roster has fans frothing at the mouth. It is frustrating to not have confirmed release dates right away. However, stay patient high as in time, every trainer will get what their heart wants. For now, keep those eyes on the goalposts and keep teamwork strong.
