Analysis

From the gameplay footage, Azumarill seems like a versatile melee pokemon. Utilizing its tail for crowd control and water type moves for area of effect damage, the pokemon will likely release in a rather strong state. After all, most new pokemon tend to follow that trend. And after so many new pokemon releases, with the vast majority pretty much breaking the meta upon release, it’s likely that Azumarill will do the same. At this point, it’s more so a tactic to help promote the new pokemon rather than a mistake on the developers’ end.

As with most new pokemon, Pokemon Unite Azumarill likely costs 10,000 Aoes Coins. That’s quite the steep price point, so get to saving currency now. For the new additions to Pokemon Unite, they tend to release on the stronger end of the spectrum. Duraludon released very OP, Sylveon did as well, and Dragonite practically broke the meta upon debut. There’s a chance that Pokemon Unite Azumarill follows the same trend, so keep an eye out.

In Conclusion

With Pokemon Unite Azumarill Release Date officially stated to drop on April 7, the new pick is sure to evolve the meta. For those who have been eagerly anticipating the pokemon’s release, save those precious Aoes coins!
