In a Twitter post, Pokemon Unite officially revealed the next upcoming Pokemon to the game: Inteleon. For those who don’t know, Inteleon reigns from the eighth generation, and is the water starter for Sword and Shield. As with all starters, there are three different forms, with Inteleon starting off as Sobble — an adorable frog Pokemon.

As with most starter Pokemon, expect the level and evolution trends of Inteleon to be similar to that of the rest. In other words, it’ll level up initially at level 5, becoming Drizzile. Then, upon reaching level 7, it’ll evolve into Inteleon, the final form.
Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, Pokemon Unite Inteleon will likely be an attacker. This speculation is based on unofficial gameplay revealed by ElChicoEevee, where the splash art for the Pokemon during the loading screen is red — representing an attacker. In addition, Inteleon is speculated to deal special attack — thereby making items such as Wise Glasses great on the starter.
It’s also been quite some time since a speedster has joined the game. Therefore, if inteleon ends up joining as a speedster, it’ll be a very welcome addition to the mobile MOBA.
Of course, this all remains speculation grounded in rather strong evidence. But previous speculation using similar trends have been very accurate, since the developers for Pokemon Unite like to remain consistent with the mainline franchise. If an official trailer drops, expect more updates on the upcoming Pokemon Unite new Pokemon: Inteleon.
