Set to release on October 1, the new Pokemon Unite Alolan Ninetales Holowear looks rather amazing. With shimmering purple, and bells accompanying behind, the upcoming Holowear is absolutely dazzling. Dazzling gleam. Anyway, the powerful ranged attacker stands rather strong in the meta. The new cosmetic inspired by Japanese kimono provides another reason to play the tailed beast. Hopefully, the Holowear will be readily available through event mission rewards.

A screen shot from a leaked source presents the cosmetic as potentially earnable through missions. But since this is an unofficial source, there are inconsistencies throughout the screen shot itself. The screen shot mentions “Obtained Via Event,” but shows text for Festival Style: Pikachu. Since the screen shot also shows a “Pre-Evolution Appearance” button, it is really difficult to tell exactly how to obtain the Holowear.
This particular Alolan Ninetales Holowear dresses the pokemon from top to bottom. The fox wears skinny sashes around its neck and waste, garnered with bells. Developers redid Ninetales’ hair as well, marking a complete makeover for the Pokemon.
As a whole, Pokemon unite’s Holowear drastically improved with the mobile release. The simple, almost lazy designs boasting only a recolor of some very simple clothes no longer seem to be the standard. With Gengar’s battlepass Holowear displaying reanimated skills, there is a chance that future Holowear follow Gengar’s example. Definitely expect Pokemon Unite cosmetics to continue and improve as the game contineus to grow and develop. This Alolan Ninetales Holowear is another prime example of the fruitful efforts of Timi.
