Every couple of weeks, the mobile pokemon game receives updates. But although it’s been a cool while since the last update, and therefore gameplay content has been a little dry, there’s at least a new accessories releasing relatively consistently. Considering Aegislash is pretty strong at the current moment in Pokemon Unite, it’s fitting that the pokemon received a new cosmetic. Here’s a Pokemon Unite New Aegislash Holowear, officially revealed by Pokemon Unite’s Twitter page.
[Related: Pokemon Unite New Absol Holowear]
Honestly, the holowear seems decent. Definitely better than the Absol version. The goggles alongside floatation devices make the pokemon look a lot cuter than it usually does. For players who love the beach aesthetic, perhaps they would like this new cosmetic. Though uncertain as to how much it costs, the Pokemon Unite Aegislash New Holowear is undoubtably purchasable only through Aoes gems. In other words, it costs real money.
The beach aesthetic is a hit for games like League of Legends. But for this particular Holowear, it doesn’t really show the most effort. The floatation device and goggles are rather cute, but the developers can clearly do a lot more with their designs than just this. It’s clear that they’re saving the better looking Holowear for more expensive bundles. In general, the holowear looks a bit uninspired, but at least it’s better than some of the previous Holowear, that are pretty undeniably lazy in design.
It would be nice of Pokemon Unite had more of a regular update schedule, similar to League of Legends and Wild Rift. The lack of structure and timing makes predicting the game’s trajectory rather difficult. In essence, an update every two weeks drastically helps the content creators alongside committed fans understand where the game is going.
