Celebrating its first anniversary, the third volume of the anniversary event in Pokemon UNITE announces the arrival of the legendary pokemon Mew, Dodrio, and Scizor. Players have the chance to earn Mew for free during the anniversary event. Here’s how to unlock Mew for free in Pokemon UNITE.
Players will have an opportunity to earn Mew for free during the event. Mew will actually be made available free starting on September 2. Players will have to complete special missions in order to collect slates and solve a puzzle. Once players collect all six slates they can now unlock Mew at no cost at all. Mew’s UNITE License will only be available for purchase on October 13, 2022, after the event.
The biggest news being announced in volume 3 of the anniversary event is the arrival of three brand new Pokemon. Mew, Dodrio, and Scizor will all be added to Pokemon Unite in September to celebrate the game’s first-anniversary event. While all three Pokemon will be coming out in September they each have their own designated release dates. Mew will be added on September 2nd, Dodrio will be added on September 14th, and Scizor will be added on September 28th.
Legacy Showdown is a new event that has players battling against trainers from multiple Pokemon generations. Those trainers consist of Cynthia with Garchomp, Korrina with Lucario, Leon with Charizard, Raihan with Duraludon, and Green with Blastoise. During this event, players can earn Trainer Battle Coins. With these coins, players can purchase Leon’s outfit from Pokemon Sword And Shield. This mode will be live starting from September 9 to October 2.
During the Anniversary Event, a new map will be added to the game. Theia Sky Ruis. The map will feature new wild Pokemon, a dense Central Area, and Rayquaza a new boss pokemon.
The map itself will be hosting a special event. Players can earn Theia Sky Ruins Coins by completing missions from battling. These coins can be used to spin an in-game gacha to get random items.
If the gacha is rolled 20 times players will receive two special Holowear. Tuxedo Style: Venusaur and Tuxedo Style: Espeon. Part 1 of the event begins on September 1- September 22. Part 2 begins on September 22 – October 13.
Although not much was revealed, gamers were showcased a teaser for the upcoming battle pass. It appears it will be themed around Mew and the Theia Sky Ruins. Azumarill and Mew holloware also will be included too.
