In recent news, Pokemon Unite revealed that they’ll be creating test servers. For those unaware, these are game servers that allow committed players to test out new features to the game. And then the developers use the feedback and data from the test servers, also known as PBE (Public Beta Environment), to polish the gameplay further before officially releasing the content into the public. Here is how to download the Pokemon Unite Beta.

Pokémon UNITE Public Test is a publicly available app for testing purposes. The app aims to gather data for balance changes and bug fixes, which will be utilized in future updates.
The app is only available in English.
The app is available on Android devices and is open to users at the age of 16 or above living in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, or India. Players will need to download the APK from this page and install it to the player’s device. Application is not needed to participate.
For everyone who completes the survey, a code will be provided which can be redeemed for items in Pokémon UNITE.
・Since this is a public test, there is no guarantee that players will have a comfortable gaming experience.
・The developers may delete game data or start emergency maintenance without notice.
・Game data and progress within the public test version of Pokémon UNITE will have no effect on the actual game itself.
That’s all the information officially released by the developers. There’s already been tons of leaks and information taken by data mining the beta, such as Pokemon Unite new pokemon. Anyway, it’s honestly great that they’ve started putting more effort into balance and quality of life. The Beta should definitely help data collection before a pokemon releases, which as the community knows by now, they have a poor job of balancing before release.
