The leaks keep on coming thanks to the latest datamining of Pokemon Unite. The Pokemon coming for the Unite anniversary will be Gen 3’s Latios and Latias. Here is a look at the two jet-inspired legendary Pokemon.
Having both Latios and Latias in Pokemon Unite will be interesting. Mainly due to what has been leaked so far by known leaker, ElChicoEevee.
As you can see, these two Pokemon will be connected just like they are in the lore.

The only thing we know at the moment about the Latios & Latias Unite Abilities is that they include some sort of connection and speed.
They will be able to move more quickly whenever they use an ability. Then, if you play them together, they move quicker when together and have a passive, or what we assume is a passive, that will allow the other to fly over to its opposite.
There is little doubt that this will be extremely strong as map mobility like this could truly change games in a significant way.
As the original leak suggests, the release date will be during the game’s fourth anniversary.
That means that you can expect them both sometime in July. Considering they are connected in such an important way in-game, it would be a major surprise to see either of them released without the other right away.
So it looks like two more legendary Pokemon will be added to a game that seems to be drawing from all over the Pokemon universe.
