The all-new Pokémon TCG Pocket Triumphant Light expansion is set to come out very soon, which has fans of the ever-popular card-collecting app as excited as ever for the additional content. But, what else is coming with the new set, and when can you expect to play it officially? That, and more, below.

The latest Pokémon TCG Pocket, Triumphant Light, goes live on February 28, 2025. Once it goes live, you will be able to hop in and see all of the new cards, including the all new Mega Evolution EX cards.

The new Mega Evolution EX cards are one of the biggest and most game-breaking additions to Pokémon TCG Pocket that we have ever seen, featuring massive health pools, devastating attacks, and all-new mechanics.
These new cards, according to early footage, will allow your opponent to draw multiple “Prize Cards” after defeating them, along with presumably being worth two points as other EX cards are. So far, all we have seen are Mega Lucario EX and Mega Gardevoir EX, however, there may be more cards like this on the way in the future. Either way, these cards look to be incredibly tanky while still packing an incredible punch.
However, we’ll have to wait until they go live on February 28, 2025 before we know exactly how they function.
