How to Restore PP Fast in Pokemon Pokopia | Quick PP Guide

Publish Date: March 5, 2026

Power Points, also known as PP, have been in Pokemon games since the beginning. In Pokemon Pokopia though, it is being used in a very different manner as Ditto basically needs it for everything. Here is a quick Guide for PP in Pokemon Pokopia and how to quickly restore it.

This Pokemon Pokopia PP Guide will tell you how to keep your Power Points topped up at different points in the game.

Early Game

In the early game you only have a few options, especially while you are at the Withered Wasteland.

  1. The first and most consistent throughout the game is using Leppa Berries from trees. You use Water Gun on them to bring them back to life. Then you run up to them and press ‘A’ to use headbutt. Then you scoop them up.
    1. You can get a free Leppa Berry every time you finish a Daily Challenge at the PC.
  2. Carrots are an early-game food item that you can find in the ground. They are easy as you can just pick them up and they will give you more PP than berries.
  3. The third way is that once you finish rebuilding the Pokemon Center, you can go there to instantly restore the entire PP bar. The only issue is that obviously, you can not bring the Pokemon Center with you so this is for if you are making your way back to town.

Mid Game

There is really only one big change in the mid-game, Chef Dente or the Greedent variant in Pokemon Pokopia.

You will find him in a barrel in Rocky Ridges. Once you have brought him onto your team, you can start cooking. There are a variety of different meals that you can cook. Some of them will fill up your PP completely and others may have different effects. Recipes like Simple Salad, which helps with Leafage PP and Simple Bread which restores Cut PP are crucial in many locations like Rocky Ridges.

Either way, this is the main way you will get PP and not have a need for raw berries and carrots moving forward.

Late Game

Finally in the late game, there will be two main ways to keep your PP strong while out in the field.

  1. You get PP Up Items later in the game like you do in normal Pokemon games. These can be bought at the Pokemon Center shops once your Environment Level is at 3.
    1. A PP Up will run you 1,000 Life Coins and will increase the PP blue bar size.
  2. The last option for you is to bring certain Pokemon with you as followers. Chansey is one of these Pokemon that provides you with passive PP regeneration, similar to being the healing Pokemon we see across the rest of the Pokemon universe.

PP is Important

While it can be funny to say PP, it really is extremely important in Pokemon Pokopia.

Without it, you are unable to use the many different abilities that Ditto has available. If you want to Surf or Fly over vast distances, your PP will be something that you will need to monitor.
