Where to get the Kalos Starters in Pokemon Legends Z-A?

Chespin, Froakie and Fennekin are back in Pokemon Legends Z-A but not as the primary starters. Instead, if you want to get them on your team, you will have to do more and look a bit harder. Here is how you get each of the Kalos Starters in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

Kalos Starters Pokemon Legends Z-A

Below is how to get each of the Kalos Starters in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

Chespin

There are two ways to get Chespin in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

Wild Zone

The first way to get Chespin is later in the game in Wild Zone 17.

Side Mission

The second way is right after you have talked with Emma and have Side Missions unlocked. You will need to go to Restaurant Le Wow next to Wild Zone 3 for Side Mission 007 “A Feisty Chespin”. Once you complete that mission, you will be able to get a Chespin.

Fennekin

There are two ways to get Fennekin in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

Wild Zone

The first way to get Fennekin is later in the game in Wild Zone 18.

Side Mission

The second way is right after you have talked with Emma and have Side Missions unlocked. You will need to go to the Magenta Plaza and head west into the first group of buildings for Side Mission 008 “Get Well, Fennekin”. Once you complete that mission, you will be able to get a Fennekin.

Froakie

There are two ways to get Froakie in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

Wild Zone

The first way to get Froakie is later in the game in Wild Zone 16.

Side Mission

The second way is right after you have talked with Emma and have Side Missions unlocked. You will need to go to the Northeast side of the map just under Cafe Action! for Side Mission 009 “A Challenge from Froakie”. Once you complete that mission, you will be able to get a Froakie.
